I had missed most of the recent move lower in UK power and PPA pricing! I suppose good news for my import costs if nothing else...
Seems like we made it through winter and market confidence returned.
Nice summary from the PPA chaps at NSR...
Just been talking to the PPA chaps at New Stream Renewables again. Very helpful and knowledgeable as always. Looks like energy pricing stabilising albeit at some incredibly strong levels. Again some useful updates on their website ...
Incredible to see UK power prices at over £4000 MWh last night. This is a nice summary of the current situation from the folks at newstream https://www.newstreamrenewables.com/news/lng-supplies-remain-tight-as-storm-ida-weakens/
Good news for PPAs less good news for power bills!
I liked the fact that Morgan is unpredictable in his views and can be surprised as to which side of the argument he ends up on... left or right.
Not sure who was advising M&H as to where the upside was other than cash...
I don't need the hard sell thanks I was trying to be helpful. This a forum for farmers not a sales platform for you! Unsubscribe. Thank you and good luck.
Hi Alex, If you are new to this and looking for feedback / research on PPAs have a chat to New Stream Renewables. We have used them for a good few years now on PPA renewals, advice etc.. They seem to have good coverage across new suppliers like Valda Energy and others... and corporate off-takes...
