SSE were good here with 1 simple log in and then access multiple accounts from there and fits were separately sent readings.

Ovo are terrible compared to them.
Only 1 email address to 1 meter nightmare that was untill they accepted the same as SSE took about a year!.😡

Received letters to say accounts migrated over from SSE to OVO and in reality they were still with SSE and wouldn't deal with you.😡

They won't tally up your old SSE account numbers up with new ovo account numbers.😡

I am a POA for my Mum and that was another nightmare as she was all "old school" , read meter ,pay by cheque. No direct debit, no internet no email address , no mobile OVO wouldn't have it.
Different depts DON'T talk to each other also???😡

We NEVER HAD A CHOICE TO GO WITH OVO ANYHOW?

SSE just assumed all wanted to???

Yet some even in the same street remain with SSE and others forced to OVO.😡

Now received letters about FITS migrating from SSE to OVO so another nightmare.😡

Last balance before migration to OVO was large and paid in full.
Bugger me SSE then took direct debits also moved to OVO and they too took direct debits too and upped amounts as well (we can't do nothing about) and WILL NOT address issues???
FFS and electricity prices have come down ???😡

If not sorted going to get in touch with OFWAT and OFGEM as terrible service that's gone on years.
We got all photographic meter evidence over the years also.
Just look on Facebook pages.😡

The prices have dropped since last year. We're currently paying about 12-14p/kwh for wind, although the market prices change daily. The specific price varies depending on the site/ location, which is why most prices are bespoke to individual sites.
What are PPA export prices like for solar like at the moment?
And how much do they fluctuate typically over a week or a month?
How far ahead can I lock into the price quoted today?

We price each site individually but we are typically paying between 8-10p/kWh for a 12 month contract. This can be a fair bit higher or lower depending on the site and the location, so its worth getting a quote to know for sure.

The markets have been fairly stable recently and so we aren't seeing too much fluctuation at the moment.

We offer 12 or 24 month contracts for solar PV PPAs.

Just moved our supplier to EON and noticed this in their blurb;

"

Can I have a smart meter installed as I have a FiT system?

You can have a Smart Meter installed, but you would need to be happy to move from deemed export to metered. Currently you'll be on deemed export which is 50% of everything you generate, moving to a smart meter means that we'll be able to record what you actually export back to the grid, and therefore will be paid to actual readings"

You could find that the cost of the meter reading for export costs more than the amount of income made.

It was always intended when the FIT scheme was introduced that domestic customers and those up to 30Kw would have their exports tied to meter readings. However at the time most small meters were incapable of reading this but smart meters were in the pipeline.
if you go back to the original contract their is a paragraph discusses this .
It is likely that many domestic customers would in fact benefit as it was rare to use 50% of output
however the advent of batteries has changed this.
Of course now with tarriffs such as Octopus give there may be an advantage to many customers to monitor exports, since paid for exports will attract a premium up to 50%
I can assure you that meter monitoring can cost under £25 a year for me so what the giant companies pay will be a pittance meterinf itself is another story and 1,2,3 or more channels is of negligible cost
