number plate

I have LPJ32 on my Fergie and we had a wise-guy customer used to come in gave me endless bull about this wonderful tractor, and how he wanted to take it and restore it in honour of my dad. Eventually I told him that you couldn't transfer the plates from a tractor and funnily enough, he never came in again. :)

There is a company locally that deals in mobile toilets for festivals and the like. They have POO1 and PEE1 on their lorries with the blue tardis things loaded.

It allways stuck in my memory when I went to do some alterations to some wooden stables(another form of employment in another life) at a big house in the Cotswolds. The owner had something like 10 vehicles around from the estate runabout to a brand new Masarati he'd just bought all with consecutive number plates, the difference was that there were only two letters and they started from number 1, none of them any higher than number 15.

We’ve got one on the car which I bought and put on retention for a couple of years then when we bought a newer car put it on.

It is a farming related plate and everywhere we go it draws attention from people who very often comment how much it amuses them.

It’s directly related to livestock.

I can’t really see the point of having one with initials,I prefer something which is fun to read.

Two farmers near here had very similar defenders, both same colour, both hardtop and both very similar number plates (not private) with only one or two digits different. One was married and the other was single and a bit of a ladies man. His land rover was often parked where it shouldn't be and the married farmer's wife often got told her husband was playing away even though he was totally innocent so in the end he bought a private plate for himself.
there might have been an easier solution...;)

I got a few all similar - they are pretty cheap when you spell your surname differently to anyone else !

It makes remembering the plates of various vehicles a lot easier as you get old and forgetful a lot easier if nothing else !
