We’ve just finished our last field of wheat.
Onto spring barley tommorrow. Only 50 acre so won’t take long then bale up the straw before the wet due next weekend. Happy days. I never thought harvest would finish in August. Not up here in Durham

Before winter barley and OSR were 'a thing', we used to happy if we'd started harvest on Dad's birthday, which, if he was still alive, would have been yesterday.
Just shows how much of an early harvest it has been.

Cut one field this afternoon. Wasn't fit in the heat a couple of weeks ago and finally below 15% for the first time today. Had the big tractor on the header today.
