Used a 6m sprinter and it needed 240hp on cultivated soils drilling in october. These were the standard duetts though not the thinner bourgault type. Our own 4m sprinter on bourgault's runs easily on 150hp.

As does ours, my only concern is the initial momentum required when you drop the drill in to work. Even with the front packer set right and a priority valve set on the spool for the fan it can occasionally put everything under a lot of load when the hopper is full

Also a 6m sprinter needed more hydraulic pump pressure which is why we put it on as bigger tractor as our 150hp kept dropping the fan out when it was lifting and lowering on headlands.

Stuart from Bourgault Tillage Tools UK may be able to offer some advice or at least put you in touch with other 6m users

Local contractor pulls 6m sprinter with twin track 390 hp. Stiff ground and hills though. Can also just about pull a grange tool bar on the front though too as required.

I have 200hp, and I'm fairly sure I couldn't pull it.
