Has any one used them for a drive or track used by tractors and lorries

We are hoping to get a new grain store on a green field site and would be using them to create a track from to road to the store.

We use them here for the missus horses. Work really well. I drive on them with the loader tractor. Don't move (granted 70hp tractor)
They do have a value 2nd hand too. On mudcontrol mats Facebook page they often advertise people having them and they go right quick.

We're on top of a hill down south and haven't had anything like the rainfall than up north and have used mudmats. About you're track, here's a little idea:
Take off the top soil and trailer away in sections equivalent to an 8 legger's tipper's worth. A good driver can start off on hard standing and gradually tip as he reverses back so making his track as he goes so he doesn't get stuck. That means you could be trailering your next load of soil away whilst waiting the next load of hardcore/scalpings/etc. The only logistics prob is ensuring your loads come in regularly so that no one's standing around waiting.
As I say. Just an idea.

As an alternative we offer these Paddock Slabs, which you backfill with fine aggregate. We have used them on our yard and filled them with scalpings, they are standing up to the tractors very well.
Please get in touch if you would like a quote. They retail at £23.35+VAT per square metre.
