What happened to the machine in the end. I have error code 1001 network error. Repair, the optical fiber is cleaned from the end with cleaning liquid. Wait a moment and connect. Everything works

It's interesting because the Ethiopian TF 78 had the same fault code 1001 as my machine. The engine started but nothing else worked. The gauges messed up. Cleaning the ends of the fibers with isopropanol spray fixed everything. The TF 78 is a good combine, but the farmer needs to familiarize himself with the machine thoroughly. Buy a repair manual online. Error codes help in finding the problem. Keep dry and away from rodents. Clean the connectors with electospray

NH never continued or went any further with the fibre optics they used on the Elektra TF’s.
Diode Don worked out how much it would have cost to convert them back to copper wire, which was quite expensive.

IIRC, Ali thought the problem was caused by the batteries having been connected the wrong way round.
Interesting that you had the same fault , which turned out o be a Fibre optic problem.
I recall having a few similar issues. One I particularly remember was the engine throttle not working and I had to tie it in its flat out position to be able to continue combining. The next day it was all fine again!

I don’t know what happened . @Ali Ethiopia hasn’t been of TFF for a long time,
I tried putting him in touch with Diode Don from APH and I think he did speak to Ali.

The point I was trying to make Andy p ( all be it very badly by the tone of your response ) if a chap is at your farm working for you and charging by the hour. Would you be happy if they spent half the time on the phone yet still charged you for full time? If that chap has the chance of future business then fine but if the guy is in an other country and will never benefit then ....... . Personally I always help people as some on here have found out even if they are in other parts of the world. It came up from a customer of mine a while back as I was taking lots of calls while on site at his. I said would he be just as argumentative if he was the one stuck and calling me for trouble.
Honestly, sometimes I suggest and alternative view for just that, an alternive view can create discussion.
No offence

I’m sure APH could decide if they want to charge for their advice over the phone. Main thing is that someone in the clart at a tough time of the year has been given a heads up on how to get sorted.
