New Holland T5 Dynamic Command

It's a safety feature to make sure the oil is warm enough first, you will see a snowflake/ice symbol on the screen indicating the temps are too low.
I know that and I should be more patient but when I set off I dont always see snowflake and dont realise till I'm out of the drive

Not really any issues, my only gripe is that when it’s freezing temps it just won’t move sometimes, have to leave it sitting for 5 mins before transmission will even move. Wouldn’t be ideal on a feeder wagon. Normal temps it never does it. Perhaps it’s a dodgy temp sensor but it’s done it from new.

tractor has only done a shocking 950 hours in 3 and a half years. The T7 does all the main work.
Our T7 s are the same re temp, very annoying when you pull onto road to go through town and they have another 6 gears to reach but won't because its cold, only happens in cold temperatures
How is this a bad thing, stops the gearbox chewing itself because the oil isn't warm enough??
But you can buy low viscosity UTTO of different oils brands but maybe not new Holland ,that oil might be more suitable for cold conditions?

Wouldn’t be an issue for me, always have tractor started and heater on for 5-10 mins before use in cold weather anyway 🤣
That’s the quickest way to ruin an engine in my opinion block up the DPF and glaze the bores up , just half a minute to get the oil pressure all around then straight to work NOT under full load or revs mine you that’s the quickest way to worm them up .minus 10 or 15° give them five minutes or so

Only if you leave them ticking over, i normally let them tick over 30 seconds then set them til about 13-1500 revs then go do something else for 5 mins, by that time they are warmed up inside and the gearbox etc is smoother etc
