Yes. Water is the new oil. My grandchildren, will be Water Sheiks. Bless ‘em!I've said it before, in times to come there will be wars over water
It’s got nothing to do with water shortage, and everything to do with ridding land of people and food production.I've said it before, in times to come there will be wars over water
Not sure. Clearly Oregon face water shortages and that's why the CAFO reparation measures have been (over) introducedIt’s got nothing to do with water shortage, and everything to do with ridding land of people and food production.
scotland got oil and water but there almost bust
Is that process democracy? What’s the solution?Yeah, but thats entirely to do with democracy selecting the lowest common denominators from the general population.
In the same way that "a camel is a horse designed by a committee", our elected politicians are the result of a process that eliminates long term planners and pragmatists, and specialises in 'short termism' and elevating party brown noses to a position way above their ability at council and parliamentary level, at both Westminster and the Shortbread Senate.
I ‘suffer’ the same critical condition these days. It’s pretty depressing really.I watched the video on facebook, my partner thinks I believe in conspiracy theories, seeing all big government as bad and the government are in a cabal with multinational corporations and billionaires to disenfranchise the people (and first of all yeoman farmers or kulaks).

It’s basically how it’s going to be, ‘democracy’ won’t change. It’s what passes for ‘democracy’, but it’s a pale imitation of what it could and should be.
This version seems to be designed for individuals to nominate themselves to be ‘servants of the people’, only for them to serve their own parties paramount desire to survive from one election to the next, similar in so many ways to a malignant tumour.
The solution simply put is revolution, and the summary execution of any member of society who has ever been a serving member of a political party.
Only then, humour aside, will all future politicians decide to work by consensus instead of self serving partisan division. The real problem is society lets them get away with their appalling ’divide and conquer’ sleight of hand con trick, and the media plays into their pretend tribalism, Guardian versus Daily Mail, ‘The National’ versus anyone with eyes in their head.
If instead of voting for leaders we voted to select and publicly cull the political herd of the worst performing 1% of MP’s and MSP’s, do you think the country would be in such a mess, or do you think they’d work a bit harder to find long term solutions?

Biggest problem with Democracy is it passes the tools for its destruction straight to its mortal enemies. Is that process democracy? What’s the solution?
