Looking at a set Bridgestone VF 710 70 42. Not had any experience with VF tyres and choose is limited at its a new build tractor so only being offered Bridgestone or Michelin in VF. I could put a set of non VF 710s on and change them to a set of VF of my choice and sell the non VF ones
Which tractor tyres do people reccomend. On trelleborg now and if money was no object I'd put them back on. People round here are saying bkt are good value. Used on grassland and alot of road work. Thanks
Do many people buy tractor tyres on line? look reasonable prices. Which web site is best. Will obviously ring local suppliers as well but thought it was worth having some prices to bounce off them. Sadly need a few 😒
Currently has 16.9 38 and 14.9 24 but want to go wider. Looking at 520/70 38 and 480/70 24? I think those will work but not 100% sure. Will need wider front rims but rears are fine. Will be going down the vredistein route
I have Valtra T194 on trelleborg 650/65 r42 back and 549/65 r30 on front and was wondering what pressures I could drop them to for doing our umbilical slurry. The tractor will also need to put the pipes out with 1000m on the back and 600 on the front as well as being on the dribble bar.
Currently travelling atleast 3 miles a day on tarmac with the quad but alot more during lambing. Current tyres are kenda executioner which have done 12,000 mile and are getting to the point of changing which i am fairly happy with but was wondering if anybody had an experience with the maxxis...
Into my fourth season with the flail now, and there are some questions I'd like to put forward.
Trundling along the top, I get a steady rocking motion of tractor and cutter, a bit like baling, but sideways. I've tried lower revs, stopping and restarting, can't go any slower, can't keep up if I...
This could be the shortest thread ever and let’s not get into waffling on about preferred colours.
I might be looking for a tractor soon. 150-180 hp ish.
Maybe 5-10 years old, up to 5000 hrs. I know, they are rare.
More than the colour I’m interested in the reliability. I don’t...
Need some new tyres on a JD 6215, 75% of its time is pulling a trailer, bowser. Occasionally gets put on the rolls or cultipress. Ideally would be able to let the tyres down to 1 bar for rolling, but also need to be comfortable towing a grain trailer at 50 kph. Any recommendations?
I am looking at changing two rear tyres on my MF390 16.9 x 38, we don't do very much road work and I am not sure wether to put Radials or Crossply on!
Any thoughts and suggestions of preferred makes etc, greatly received.

As of title. I have never previously taken the temperature of the stack but this is a heap of 1500 small bales baled last Friday and unloaded Saturday. When I went up the stack on Sunday to shake loose straw on the top to stop any sweating out spoiling the top layer found very little sweating...
