Soil analysis and flat crops
Anybody ever looked into this? Got a field that every year the crops go flat. Extase potential problems
I have heard from my agronomist today that someone not far from me PE9 postcode, has been harvesting extase with a yield of about 2 t/ha. Apparently KwS are looking into this. Has anyone else had any problems.?- willy

N Rates Applied
Just been doing the sheets for last application of fert to w and s barley. What rates of nitrogen are you applying to your cereal crops? 220kgsN/ha w wheat 200kgsN/ha w barley 125kgsN/ha s barley Adjusted for any manure/slurry applied. -

Planet Spring barley fungicide
Have used 0.5l/ha Jaunt (Fluoxastrobin(75g/l) Prothioconazole(150g/l) Trifloxystrobin(75g/l)) the last couple of years with good results( have both been very dry springs with low levels of disease). With the loss of CTL what are people using this year? -

State of your crops?
Given the late drilling date and the amount of rain that’s gone on them I’m pleasantly pleased with the state of my crops. I do have two small fields that are below par but most are looking well. How are others looking? Wheat and barley below, no rape this year but locally it looks well.- Jerry

EPSO-TOP bitter salts
Am looking at options for soya . I know a lot use it on cereals do you rate it as our agronomist is not a fan of most likely wants to sell more expensive stuff . It is cheap source of folia sulphur and mag. Opinions on it would be appreciated .
