Yet there all all these posts on here along the lines of "I was in Tesco/Asda the other day blah blah and I took this photo blah blah ". If folks on here don't give a flying fudge why should the other 99% of the population ?

Asked my local butcher's where their pork came from a few years ago, answer was a wholesaler in Birmingham. I bought half a dozen eggs and haven't been back since.
At least at a supermarket I can choose something with a tractor on it and a sell by date instead of a lump of something in a plastic bag.

The chip shop has got propaganda on the wall about all their fish being line caught sustainable, when I looked up the boat (that they said supplied them) it was a massive trawler from scandinavia.

I think people are keen to make positive choices but it's not easy sometimes.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
