12v Capacitor or battery? Diet feeder scales

We have had a new set of scales put on the mixer wagon, the only problem is they take about 5 minutes to start up and connect to the cloud etc.

They are on all the time even when the tractor is off but when you come to start the tractor it draws all the current and restarts the scales so you have to wait 5 minutes before you can do anything.

Could i wire some sort of rechargeable battery or capacitor to power the scales for the 10 seconds while the tractor starts?

Put a diode on the scales power supply?

Could fit a small 12v motorbike battery and use a voltage sensing relay that will charge battery when tractors running?

I have voltage sensing relay on a 12volt heated hand wash in back of van but I dont have a battery in the circuit.

Now Then...
I assume you have it connected to a factory fitted plug??
Many tractors actually cut the power off to such auxiliary circuits. I would try connecting directly to the tractor battery before you spend time and money on other solutions..

Hmm .. You can try the extra 12 volt battery. Its connection will not take much time. But if I were you I would use edi diodes. It seems to me much easier and more convenient. A friend of mine had a similar problem. He also thought about adding a battery, came up with various schemes, but in the end his problem was solved with a couple of edi diodes ... I think this would be an excellent solution to your problem too. Could you tell us more about how you will solve this problem? I think everyone will be interested in how you do it. Thanks in advance!
