Annoyingly you'll want to wait until the late bits are knocking at the door of 30 percent moisture. By then the early bits will be dead. Then two week minimum, probably three week wait to cut. By then the early stuff will have helpfully planted themselves for next year.

Yep,mine is just the same.I have 1 field that i shall ignore the late stuff cos its only about 10% of the crop,the other field is more like 50% of the crop,im hoping the late stuff may stop the early crop falling off and spraying off at the later timing.
