Finnished second cut last night and we won't be needing any more as all four pits are full.
Grass management will be the only reason we will be making bales from now on.
Earlier on the year we had great plans for maybe trying a four cut system but oh well back to the drawing board.

Was offered winter wheat this morning that's been advertised for a while. Would buy it if I'd somewhere to put it.. Was offered as much hay as I wanted on Tuesday. Theres so much about, you'd nearly say it was just sprouting up out of the ground.

Too gradual a slope to the edge with invisible softness. Needs to be built square to the edge with a steep shoulder to keep it firm. Bouncers or not, you can't be having that handling.

Actually, to be fair, it was his cousin making this pit as our regular was sinking schooners of ale at Royal Welsh.

Also to be fair, it's not straight forward getting sensible carting drivers, never mind one that can handle pit pressure and make a decent job of it. Carry on.
