13 ton isnt has handy for cleaning out sheughs as a smaller digger, especially up against a hedge, you need to sit further away and can be hard to see the sheugg bottom. Personally take our 3 ton over our 8 ton for this very reason when cleaning out sheughs. A 8 ton with 180 on it would be ideal for sheaughs.8ton even 13ton
Just like Telehandlers. I don't have one but have had jobs to do and used anything from a 520/50 to a 540/17013 ton isnt has handy for cleaning out sheughs as a smaller digger, especially up against a hedge, you need to sit further away and can be hard to see the sheugg bottom. Got a EC55B wish I'd found a 88
I was thinking of 8 ton in same series as the 55bYou would only gain reach with the ECR 88 even if a plus really, the 55B is rear engined and is very stable.

Real tidy 60-5 for someone, would be tempted if i didnt already have oneVolvo haven't got one unfortunately. I think the 55 has been a 60 now for a while. Not a lot of manufacturers cater for that size anymore as they're concentrating on the hire and utility sector etc. Even rarer now is a side boom 7.5 / 8 T machine like the old EX 60 and JS70 etc.
thats what she saidI run a 2.8t komatsu, for hedging ditching and odd jobs about the place, and always wish it was bigger, when access is not an issue, bigger is better.
