Nah. I've got a NH TM it covers the ground easy without any help Just as well cos if I relied on the French tractor it would take forever.
Couple of years ago we fitted new tyres to our TM135. First job it did was plough 100 acres with a mate of mine driving. I nearly cried when I realised what it had done to the tyres. they looked like Edward scissor hands had attacked them.Sat here wondering,,,been to cheffins again today to collect the unsold 4 cyl 35....in the last 7 days ive clocked up best part of 300 miles of road work with the 1494....its certainly took the edge off the new tyres we fitted a few weeks ago
How much did the 35 get to? That's my next project and will be for saleSat here wondering,,,been to cheffins again today to collect the unsold 4 cyl 35....in the last 7 days ive clocked up best part of 300 miles of road work with the 1494....its certainly took the edge off the new tyres we fitted a few weeks ago

Edit I never sell anything
How good is the 35 ?2700....its a customers tractor, they want 3.5k for it
Told him il be setting tates on the moon before he gets 3.5k for a 4 cyl 35 in that condition
However...the 100% genuine, complete with brass factory plate ferguson single furrow deep digger plough that i entered for him, made it to £250!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mine are bkt as well. you would be planting spuds on the moon b4 we ever used premium tyres such as michelins up here as well.Luckily these are BKT crossplys...i paid 250 for the pair of 13.6/38s...they had been used for one day since they were fitted new...
given the road work im doing now with the low loader, they will be bald in 1000 hrs time
What p.issed me off even more today was the 35....it sat at cheffins all day saturday, its a 4cyl....once i had managed to coax it into life, i left it running all, and i mean all day
First attempt at reversing it up onto the low loader...guess what....it ran out of diesel!!!!!
Enter stage right a Cat teleporter and set of 4 brother chains to lift the poxy thing onto the trailer!!!
How good is the 35 ?
Not many of them ploughs about now , well not around here anyway
Not had mine starting off the key yet, needs re wiring, but it seems to pull well, black smoke to, never seen that from a massey beforeIt was in the catalouge next to my 1390
Its clean enough, tinwork has been painted, but its aged nicely now...just needs that poxy rollbar taking off it
Oh, and its a typical 4 cyl....its a c**t to start, but once its going, it runs like a peach
Not my cup of tea....id rather the sound of a 3 pot DB, what bursts into life within a few turns of the engine, than the constant winding, swearing "come on you b*stard" and heating you get with the 23c lump (of shite)
John if you like the little 3 pots DBs so much, you can have mine. I would like it to go to a good home.It was in the catalouge next to my 1390

Picked this up the other week, customer wants me to do a full mechanical overhaul on it, so he can use it to run his grain drier
