I'm on an unlimited data 3G contract for about £24/month.
A lad in the EE shop told me a couple of years ago to hang on to it as long as I could, but eventually 4G would come down in price close to it.

That looks good, can you use all the data as a hotspot as it doesn’t seem to say there’s a cap on the amount

There doesn't seem any mention there....but when you click the "unlimited" box on the LH side, then "My Suggestion" purple bit on the RH side of the screen it shows this which says 30gb personal hotspot.

Fixed telecoms is I think the only technology I can think of that doesn't seem to move at light (or in fact any!) speed.

I can see 4G/5G taking a big chunk out of the fibre/landline market in the next 5 years.
Implementation may be dogshit slow, but allowances and prices seem to get better and fatter. I remember getting 4G fixed broadband in late 2013/early 2014. It was a revelation (in speed) but the data allowance and costs of the day would make you blush now.

True.....though the mobile industry are able to run rings around them for implementation it seems. Effectively means BTOR etc are using old tech to deliver services that mobile firms can deliver quicker, and for a fraction of the price. By the time BTOR have spend the money and caught up....the mobile firms have moved on to other, newer, fancier things.

It was a wise move BT buying EE while they had the money.

the fixed line telecom network used to be advertised as unlimited until you read the small print which said a 40gb per month was the upper limit, altho now it is genuinely unlimited, with the kids streaming films games etc you can get 150gb month easily.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
