540 spline shaft

I am looking for a shaft with 540 spline at 1 end approx 700mm long , the longest I can find are 350 long from sparex . I need longer as I am looking to fit a pulley in the centre with bearing at each end to power a grain blower.
Is there such a thing available?

Unfortunately my projects are always low down on my engineers priority list even if I offer to pay to get it done .

You could use a keyed shaft and change the yoke on the end of the pto shaft to suit.

Try the drive shaft that runs inside the drawbar of Taarup mowers if you know anybody breaking one?

I wanted a pretty long one once for a machine that I was making. I got one from a scrap John Deere precision chop forager. It was the the one that ran along the top of the drawbar.

do you want it splined all the way along or just on the end?

Not the best pic but that shaft on the forager would maybe do the job? Has 540 spline at each end so can cut to size if any use.
