Did not know BKT made that size must very new out , What size of tractor are you putting them on ?Looking at getting some wider tyres and would ideally like to go 710/60r42 has anybody had any experience of the BKT V-flecto tyres at half price to a xeobib would they do nearly as good a job?
I just saw them on bigtyres.com while looking at xeobibs and thought they looked interesting will be going on a 7720 for slurry work and early fert sowing mainly but hoping to leave them on summer jobs as wellDid not know BKT made that size must very new out , What size of tractor are you putting them on ?
The problem you have here is a xeobibs are only rated to 200hp max and your 7720 doing that job with them on will run in to problems with them , you may be better with a 710-70-38 and they will take more hp , we have ran xeobibs on a 7618 doing slurry work and they have done a good job , but after talking to Michelin about tyres for a 220 to 250hp tractor they said do not put them on , so we are still looking at other options for the said tractorI just saw them on bigtyres.com while looking at xeobibs and thought they looked interesting will be going on a 7720 for slurry work and early fert sowing mainly but hoping to leave them on summer jobs as well
That's good to know about the xeobibs. the tractor is coming on 650/65r42 and I was planning on selling the tires and putting some 710s on the same rims hence why I was wondering if anybody had used these newer BKT'sThe problem you have here is a xeobibs are only rated to 200hp max and your 7720 doing that job with them on will run in to problems with them , you may be better with a 710-70-38 and they will take more hp , we have ran xeobibs on a 7618 doing slurry work and they have done a good job , but after talking to Michelin about tyres for a 220 to 250hp tractor they said do not put them on , so we are still looking at other options for the said tractor
Do you not need a special rim for VF tyres? That's good to know about the xeobibs. the tractor is coming on 650/65r42 and I was planning on selling the tires and putting some 710s on the same rims hence why I was wondering if anybody had used these newer BKT's
Being looking into this I think it's just the xeobibs that have a special rim but happy to be corrected if I'm wrongDo you not need a special rim for VF tyres?
There are lots of VF tyres on the market now , Bridgestone, Mitas, Michelin, but to name a few I do not thnk you 650 rims will work with 710 tyres, you will need a complete set of rims & tyres, why did you not spec them on the tractor ?I think the xeobib and trelleborg might be out of my price range so might give the BKTs a try if anybody wants some 650/65r42 multibibs that have only done 200hrs I'll have some for sale in a few weeks
