750a error code

Our 750a is a 2013, 4m with Greenstar isobus control. This autumn we’ve been consistently having trouble when calibrating the drill. It stops part way through the calibration run and throws up the code ‘I var’, according to the book it’s due to ‘extended excessive current draw at metering unit drive motor’ . This has happened on 2 tractors so it must be a drill issue. Is the motor on the way out or is it a problem with the Greenstar box? Any pointers?

My drill did that drilling beans at higher rates with the red cog pushed in, i try wherever possible to drill with it out. I think its that way round.

I've had the 'I max' code when drilling beans - the metering unit stops, possibly jammed. The 'I var' code has been coming up when calibrating rye, wheat and beans.
