They would certainly help in my rotation with ww after spring oats

As far as I can tell they are pushed but not sure if there is room for a set on a uk 8" spacing ?

Might get 1 unit bought back from the USA in a suitcase to try !

I can imagine a full set being expensive but they would be a very good addition to a 750 after white strawed crops

Great video Guy! With that music and abstract shapes in different colours, I reckon it'll be a smash with the magic mushroom crowd...It didn't look like there was much straw there. As Clive says, they might struggle on our row spacing, especially trying to move 4 tons of straw/acre. But I look forward to seeing them in action, whoever gets a set...

Evening John, it is a fairly hardcore video!

This is the best photo I have found for them so far

Are we getting some of the benefits this gives by using the Gutler closing wheels?

That looks a lot like European two space as well ?

Don't think gutters really row clean much, they are all about closeting and shatter of that disc side wall and as they are after the disc do nothing to prevent the hairpining that row cleaners do

I thought hair pinning was not considered to be a problem with the 750a???? I agree with the above, where is the residue to go on narrow row width?

hair-pinning is an issue with any disc drill - if it matters or not is another debate !

its only something that can be an issue after white straw crops though so my solution has been change rotation to minimise this

Personally I still have some situations like WW after Soats where I think it is a problem and cleaning rows ahead of the disc would provide a possible solution

Looks european spacing to me too.

On their trials results page they have sown canola at 7.5.

I can hairpin straw with a 750a! The deeper you are planting the less it is a problem. And in the spring the straw is brittle so no problem.

not sure - will ask in email what space they use them on - the pic above looks quite euro to me in spacing ?
Hi guys, I can assure you the original video was much better quality than the one posted here. We use our row cleaners on 7.5" spacings and 10" spacings. In thick residue you can get blockage in the middle of the unit where the left and right openers meet. This can be dealt with by not using the two centre residue managers and locking them in the out of service position. Not ideal but a quick solution to deal with the situation. Obviously space plays a major part in this but if you can still deal with the residue on the other openers. Any other questions?

Hi - glad you found us ! - I haven't sent a email to you yet but it was on my list of things to do today. Can you let me let me know a cost for one of these units to try in UK conditions please ?

Hi Clive, the units retail for $540 Aussie dollars which is about $350 euros. Shipping of course would be a big factor. This could be resolved by finding a dealer willing to receive a shipment and minimising the shipping cost.
