I'm pulling a 12 row planter and I'm working 2 hours then it overheats

I pulled with both tractors a Ruben 10 and a karat 9 day and night no problems it's only when a hook the planter when the overheating starts

Does the planter require lots of hydraulic power from the tractor?
Would you have a photo of the dash panel/ warning lights when it is overheating?
Also what sort of electrical functions does the planter require, that are powered off the tractors power supply?

I've seen bad cab ground give false trans temp readings on the 8600 series.

What engine revs are you running with the planter? Can you hear the engine fan engage when the heat builds?

I can send you photos of the warning light
And yes the planter need 170 l per minute
I'm running the 20/20 precision screen

Hydraulic oil use shouldn't affect the transmission oil temp directly. Only if there were an interaction across the cooling pack. I would monitor the temps on the LCD, does the hydraulic oil have a reading, get a infrared temp gun on the transmission housing and the hydraulic oil tank to check.
