It’s fecking wet here now, going to take a couple of days to dry out to do any field work. Got some cultivation to do to get some grass seed in. Will be weekend before I can get near that even if it stops raining tonight. Need to put a short piece of drain in but it’ll take a day of dry to get near that, at least it will show me where the water is rising…..silver lining and all that. Good growing weather though.

Had around 10mm here and it’s done a good job really as was starting to dry out on top and cracking. Drilled some forage rape on land that should have gone beans so will start it off nicely.

Lot of very poor ones round here. No rain in the best part of two weeks and some went in wet. Lots of shades of stunted yellow

Wold’s yes, rest very mixed and certainly not here. Already redrilled 50% of winter crops with spring barley and grass. Cannot remember seeing as many empty fields as this year. Irony is I still think we have a better look than 2020 after the crap of 2019
