AB Agri has announced the appointment of a new managing director for it’s dairy businesses within the UK and Ireland.
David Williams began his new role on February 20 this month. Williams brings a vast wealth of executive experience within the dairy industry, spanning the UK and wider Europe, with both the Arla group, and more recently as chief executive officer (CEO) for Omsco Ltd. (Organic Herd).
AB Agri has a well-established position within the UK dairy and ruminant industry, having supported farmers for over 30 years.
Over the last two years, it has accelerated the development of these businesses, bringing together expertise in on farm consultancy, data, industry knowledge, technology and nutrition.
“I am delighted to take up this new opportunity at an exciting time for the development of our businesses here in the UK and Ireland,” the new managing director said.
“I will continue to help drive and support the incredible hard work and successes our teams and businesses are demonstrating every day, as well as overseeing ongoing investments and developments, all geared towards providing responsible solutions for a sustainable and profitable future for farmers,” he continued.
