Adding fert

Is this possible ?

We have an accord metering system, with RDS

ATM it meters only grain from the tank through the venturi and to the pipes ,

We would like to add a granular fert system , eg Horsch partner , Claydon , Weaving etc

This would be mounted most likely on the front of tractor . all pretty standard stuff so far.

The question I have is this,

Is it possible to use the fan from new fert tank to blow the fert and metered seed up to the mushroom and beyond . This would make the seed fan defunct .
Will Putting fert through the bottom of the Accord system mess up the air flow .
We already add slug pellets through the side of the venturi

What you need is a nice Stainless liquid front tank approx 1600 litres with all the controls ;)

................and I know just where there is one :wideyed: 😂😂

Yes this would work perfectly fine , just connect the pipe from the font hopper to the venturi .

We are now looking for 50 farmers ahead of a early December launch of the Farmdeals app. Fuel will be the first product available so those testers should ideally have intention to buy fuel or heating oils through December and January.

Key differences over other buying groups include:
  • It will have no joining or membership fee and will be open and free to all UK farmers
  • It will not insist on commitment to use exclusively, members are free to buy from their existing suppliers or even other buying groups
  • It will not insist upon price secrecy, in fact actively sharing deals available will be encouraged to try and get everyone even better prices
  • It will use digital technology to keep...
