Adlid Lamlac Scouring

Hi

Has anyone had this issue before with the adlib systems. First time trying it this year as too many to bottle feed again last year we done 19 which was a mission by hand.

They've all taken to the feeder but are now starting to scouring, has anyone got any tips?

Thanks

Personally I think their over eager at times, for example got back from the farm to find there'd stripped out one side. Once I filled it up a couple jumped on it.

It's more a yellowish colour, it looks as if there over eating. Am doing it on the cold system as well, was told this way helps them stop over eating

Better eager than hungry 🙂

I found adding some good, plain, live yoghurt to their bucket once a day for a few days tends to stave off any adverse effects from gorging.

Can't remember whether there was any difference when adlib on warm was swapped to adlib on cold. When the shepherdess is used, until they've twigged, lambs have warm milk brought in the bucket, that doesn't stay warmed ~ heater broke and wasn't replaced. Then the milk is mixed cold. Lambs do well on it, though.

Imo, the scour will be more likely to be something other, not the lamlac milk.

They do seem to be doing much better than on the bottle. Going to get them out in a paddock next weekend with adlib milk
