Air con pressure switch.

Can it be bypassed? What's the worst that could happen?

Pressure switch fails every year on my new holland T6.175.

Getting very tiresome to replace each year.

You can just join the wires but it’s a safety switch after all. Buy two replace it and it most likely won’t fail again if you have a spare. If it keeps going bad there is probably a reason for it. Check the pressures just to make sure. I’ve plenty of ac units and rarely have pressure switch failures.

Presumably the gas will escape when it's unscrewed to replace?
These pressure switches are usually screwed into a valve which will close when the switch is removed so very little gas will escape. So there will be no issue with any replacment. You do not need to even use NH parts which are over priced go to Air Con parts suppliers as switches are standard AC parts.
