Happy with it
Have used it to break up a failed winter wheat crop in the spring, on top ploughing and to disc up a stubble field

Thanks Victor, what sort of soil type are you? Is it good enough to use as a primary cultivator? Have you ever had trouble with bouncing, it doesn't look the heaviest? However, seems to be very competitively priced!

Soil type loamy clay can only plough 5-6 inches deep and a bit stoney
Have used it successfully on ploughed ground and not had any issues with bouncing so far
Hoping to use it for reseeding pasture rather than ploughing but haven't got to it yet
Went for the packer roller as it's heavier
Only had it since March time so still early days but fine so far

Hi, we range from sandy loam to weald clay. I've tried all sorts of cultivators from lemken teradiscs to amazone catros. All the big names are so expensive and I don't reckon they'd any better job than the amj agro and it's a fraction of the price! Thanks for your help

Just remember, you get what you pay for.

They do seem incredibly cheap! However, the more recognised makes, like weaving and proforma, are twice the money. Amazone, Pottinger etc are 4 or 5 times the money and are they really that much better made and do that much of a better job? We're only approximately 200 acres arable so they wouldn't exactly get heavy use!

Purchased a set made by Rolex, started to break up in the 1st year, by year 2 I had a major rebuild costing £2500. Best offer I had was for Rolex to repair, but I pay transport to and from Poland. Decided, as they couldn't get it right first time I'd cut my losses and get it done here. When we cut them open, all the steel was 5mm walled box, really needed 10mm wall, not bent since the rework.
They still need some work to improve them, but that's just the scraper supports on the packer rollers, as long as it stays dry they're ok.
Like I said, you get what you pay for.
