Infrastructure couldn`t cope with all the electric cars that are supposedly going to be on the roads in next few years
Friend of our has tried all sorts to get a charging point with a cable that can cross a council footpath, even offered to cover the cost.
Council keep saying no
With this attitude an awful lot of people are not going to be able to charge at home

Talking to a joiner mate last night and we both agreed all new build properties/buildings etc should be fitted with solar panels as standard.

Nor here but doesn’t take many weeks of dry and there’s talk of hosepipe bans. Bit of built in resilience wouldn’t be bad thing, even better if they’re designed to soak away to half full so that sudden downpours get held up a bit.
Yep even if you're only using it to flush toilets and water the garden it takes pressure of the water network plus stops it all going down teh drain at the same time when it rains.
No brainer.
As for cars I'd have thought farms would be a perfect candidate for them (I'm not talking about towing utes before anyone mentions the 3.5 T thing)
Off street parking, plenty of roof space for solar, even wind 🤷‍♂️

Businesses shutting up shop seems to be a daily occurrence at the moment,

Not quite sure how this is sitting with Kier and his visions of getting the country to work.

Although he is right about the country not working, it’s currently very broken
