did the tanker fail or just your individual sample? if the milk was used for its intended use then it is harsh to only pay 1ppl for it. other buyers have the same policy.
So an FSA inspection will achieve what? I’m not having a go but there was nothing I could do to prevent it as I’ve not used any antibiotics! I could understand other wiseThey don’t have choice on the FSA front now, it’s a statutory requirement for milk buyers to report all AB failures to FSA.
Tonight’s milk passed ?I don’t think I’ve upset anyone that I know of, there are water troughs next to public footpaths maybe a possibility?? Just talked to the tanker driver and he reckons this is happening more often since they’ve swapped over onto a more sensative antibotic tester
They won’t tell medid the tanker fail or just your individual sample? if the milk was used for its intended use then it is harsh to only pay 1ppl for it. other buyers have the same policy.
Yes, well before I put the 4th milking in anywayTonight’s milk passed ?
I have a delvo 3 hour tester but they say they’ve recently changed onto some new highly sensitive testersWhat tester have you got? They would probably want a 3hr delvo done. Although 5 minute charm test done as quick release on most tankers.
Yes bf and protein haven’t changed by muchJust out of interest, with your nml test for day you failed, does your bf and protein ring true with your usual results?
Yes bf and protein haven’t changed by much
Yes tanker has auto samplerHave seen antibiotic failures traced back to drivers taking the sample from the bottom tap and it containing traces of chemicals enough to show a false positive.
Are you auto sampled @William Mellor
