Very lucky, this is my 4th series i have owned and all of them had siezed bolts every where, good luck with the rebuild

Series 2 gearbox can't cope with a Perkins 4.203 without snapping the layshaft.

Don't use 1st gear then you should be ok, TDI's have the same problem or beef the gearing up like i've done either Ashcroft HRTC or RR diffs ?

The loader tractor's pretty uncontrollable, so going to lower the chassis away from the body.

Assuming a lucas type 17 acr alternator.
If you have one of these control, boxes fitted, a quick way is to join the two wires together marked 'WL' and 'F' . Then join all the wires going to 'B' to the wire going to 'D' . Earth no longer required.
The larger wire at the Dynamo to the large connection on the alt and the small wire to the small connection.

The MOT won't be done this weekend now as planned as Son has and will be working away all this week and with the lights still to sort out which will be done this weekend now and should get MOT'd the weekend after instead as Son is better at the electric's than me

Difficult to tell. Looks tidy, apart from the wheels. If the wheels aren’t original, what else has been swapped, modified etc? If it’s not been messed about with, then that is good money I’d say. Are there any more pics and info?

Sold within a few hours, from the description seemed very genuine with a v good provenance. I'd have had a go if it was nearer and there was no Rugby on......
just fit the disco axles steering box etc but it won't be original so will half its value
not fitting the steering box, way too much work to do that.
It's not going to be sold, it's for cruising around the highlands in the snow and ice.

It's the owners motor, it died last weekend with dirty fuel, been parked up since. Today's job is to remove the 3 tanks and clean them out.
