I'd be going on winter barley and wheat now but I'm busy with the pigs so it'll be mid next week for me.

What rates are others applying?
I'm going on with 40 units N and 52 units so3/ acre (50 kg n/ha and 65 kg so3/ha)

90 kg/ha N on osr (GAI 0.6 - 1 but a good root mass) and 40 kg/ha N on wheat

Next door were doing their rape and spraying it yet again today, have been ploughing all day, some fields still too wet to even plough.

Done 1000ac of mop this week for a local potato grower

Couple of days of Calcifert next week then onto first N1 OSR and wheat

So looks like it's only to be poor old Devon and Cornwall again, as in 1975.

After I posted that I saw your link to the reservoir level & dismissed it as leaks or a myopic penny pinching accountant at SW Water not turning the pumps on.

I agree, and often use it on small fields or where it just needs a top up.

I use it at low rates to supply Ca to plant and soil with the side effect of keeping on top of pH every acre of wheat and osr get it routinely regardless of ph level

However where I want to correct a ph issue and want longer term persistence then bulk product is the cheaper route
