Are you talking the larger US style car, from the early 2000’s ?

if so, I’d avoid it

they did sell them briefly here & Landmark ( a very large livestock agency & rural merchandise business, used to be known as Dalgetys, some may be familiar with ) bought a number for their stock agents ( who clocked up serious amounts of kilometres in their daily business ) to replace the Ford Falcon sedans.
Apparently they were quite unstable, the suspension was sh!t & they soon got rid of them as fleet vehicles.
You never see any on the road here anymore

take from that what you will . . .

Remember many years ago ,there was a report of them having serious stability problems ,they had soft suspension and wallowed in the corners ,due to their weight and height, they could easily roll

that was pretty much the feedback back in the day, when Landmark here bought them as fleet cars for their livestock agents . . .

they only ran them for a year or so & got rid of them as they weren’t suitable for our roads & were too unstable

Localish auction regular John Spink has 1 (or is it 2....or 3 I lose track) He gets on well with it. Will tow well. Picks them up from "contacts" he knows for about 300quid. Has a spare or 2 about at scrap money. Runs them for a year or 2 (or more!) on minimal repairs. Think one has a gas conversion? Reckons it's cheap motoring. And he wouldn't be someone to spend a lot! I'm sure there are some on here that know him 👍

That generation are known as the Exploder in the states, and it will be pretty old by now too. Unless it’s dirt cheap and you’re hell bent on driving an American vehicle, I’d leave it well alone. And as previously said, there are better American vehicles out there.

With the amount of diesel my trucks using as a daily motor I had thought about selling it and getting a car to ride and around in and then an older bus for towing the cattle trailer etc when it’s needed as I don’t do vast amounts of towing, thought this may have just been perfect for the towing motor but I’ll keep looking!
