How many people suffered anxiety attacks etc. as result of the hyped reporting? (Answer we'll never know). How many people didn't die on the roads because they had decided not to travel?

Natural events will always give rise to a change in casualty rates.

The reality was that this was nothing like '87 when 15 million trees were lost in the South east - despite the media's best attempts to make it so. All I want is an accurate forecast (which the Met Office gave) not tabloid journalism.

We've had nothing here hardly. 11mm of rain and some light wind for a couple of hours. We could of gone spraying this morning by 10am.

Plenty of debris on the way to work this morning with plenty of deadwood scattered about.
Lost a couple of tiles and a bit of lead flashing, nothing major. Had 20mm in the rain gauge this morning.
