"This can’t go on" from the article.

I fully agree. Presumably they're talking about the total misrepresentation of facts?

Have a look at "perfect day milk" on sale in America in the form of ice cream. My cousin who's over there says he can't taste the difference in fact it's exactly the same as a luxury ice cream.

My concerns would be around lack of full disclosure of energy and feedstock requirements for the artificial product particularly when compared on a like for like nutritional output basis. You don’t get anything for nothing in this world; George Monbiot touts Solar Foods as the way forward but how is a vat of heated bacteria producing “flour” that much better when compared to an AD plant vat of bacteria producing energy or a cow’s rumen vat of bacteria producing milk? I know which will yield more trademarks and intellectual property rights though….

"This can't go on, especially if we are looking to feed another billion people on this planet" maybe they are missing one vital point here, rather than using more resources to produce fake milk more effort should be in providing education and birth control to all countries. We cannot keep increasing populations.
but look at china, the boy to girl ratio, is well the wrong way.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
