Role Responsibilities:
- To manage and oversee the delivery of all field work including, drilling, cultivating, irrigation and harvesting
- To operate and set up machinery and equipment, undertaking field work when required
- To lead and manage a team, making sure they follow health and safety rules and procedures
- To undertake and manage routine maintenance of the machinery and equipment
- Experienced of operating large, modern agricultural machinery and equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of agricultural practices and field operations
- A strong communicator, able to lead and motivate a team
- Good mechanical knowledge, with the ability to undertake routine maintenance
- Organised with a high level of attention to detail
- A team player
- Reliable and dedicated with a strong work ethic, happy to go the “extra mile” when required
- Full UK driving licence
