Hi all, has anybody experienced a newholland auto command gearbox overheating after long periods on the road? If so what did you find the problem to be?

Had a Puma cvx do this. Tractor does a bit of bruising so working in dust, the radiator was blown out but still overheated. we ended up power washing out the radiator and has been fine since

One of those laser thermometers can be very handy at times like this, to see how hot the gear box / oil pipes actually are. For about £10 off Amazon can save a lot of hassle.

Ours will do it if there is any chaff blocking the bottom of the main radiator, it'll be blocking the oil cooler air flow. It seems very sensitive to any small amount of blockage. I wonder if its an autocommand thing as I've never had it happen on any power or range command tractors.

Could be an auto command thing as they'll work the oil a lot harder by the very nature of how they work.
I'm not saying they will overheat they oil normally but will be more fussy to clean rads.
