You do know that Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales are all the same country, don’t you? And that Eire is a different one?
Scarily Still Farming might get his wish and have borders (maybe even boarders too) between Scotland, England, NI and Wales. The government's most recent briefing documents for business are encouraging us to consider the possible impact of different standards existing between the countries and what we can do to 'synchonize' things. (Maybe some fact finding in a neighbouring trading group like, I don't know, maybe the EU?) At the cabinet office representative's presentation I had to ask if he was serious about this. Yes. Yes they are. What next? City states?

The EU are always wanting lots of extra details about any UK proposals, from which it seems fair for one to infer that they have their own required level detail for all they propose. SO why not e-mail the EU / EC and ask then precisely how they expected things to work when they were proposing a Canada+ deal, with no backstop... You must remember that, it was immediately before TM and OR bent the UK over a barrel and pulled its cheeks apart. (y)

Do you agree that a selling point of leaving was "taking back control of our borders"?

Jeepers, I even put up a google picture today of a border between "different countries"
Seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up
Agree totally. Scratching my head while my heart is literally breaking - not how I imagined my life turning out.
I think part of the problem Czechy is that you and I are among those who are not 'getting behind' Brexit and making it a success. We are not believers. If only we could find that faith in our glorious golden-haired, rotten-toothed obese lying narcissist everything would be fine.

Not my wish what ever gave you that impression?

If the uk controls them then the uk can choose where to assert that control
Perhaps the uk will think its fine for the delightful people from Eire to cross the border unhindered and the eu will think that nobody should go the other way which is up to them
If you have the power to control you also have the power over where you exert that control
Just cos you can don't mean you have to

All that to one side it wasnt the reason I voted leave and who gave anyone the power to sell leave

Almost 100 words and you still didn’t answer the question - are you a politician ?

Yes, which meant and means choosing what to do with them here, rather than taking instruction from elsewhere.

(You seem to have a bit of a schizoid tendency to change 'person', in one post you refer to us in the UK as 'you', in this you are one of us again i.e. 'our'... :scratchhead:)
