My wifes consultant recommended the VSL3. We used to have to get it sent over from Holland, but it is now available here. It annoys me that you can't get it on the NHS, but people can get boob jobs, sex changes etc.

I got some of them drinks yesterday too

I started eating cereal a couple of weeks ago when it was getting a bit hot for a big cooked breakfast. I think that was what caused a lot of my problem. They are 95% wheat. When I switched to corn flakes things got much better. Is this anything to do with gluten?

If you were feeding a beast, would you switch its grub suddenly from one day to the next?
Would you feed it snake oil and expect a miracle cure?
Feed a dog a low quality protein high cereal diet and it will :poop: for England, feed it less & better quality you will see a massive difference.

Quite simplistic examples I know, but sure you get the drift.

There is lot in the saying, what you put in you get out. :)

People are always on at me for eating too much fried stuff and not enough variety. Far better to keep diet consistent I think

Those probiotic drinks, such as a Actimel are a waste of time and money, as they hardly contain any bacteria. You want VSL3, which contains something like 4 billion bacteria. Wife has to take it, but it is expensive.

Could you not draw a high cell count cow into your brew? All the bugs you need, keep you in Band A and save money on the drinks at the same time (y):sneaky:

You should try having a child with allergies to:
Dairy
Soya
Egg
Chicken
Beef
Pork
Turkey
Coconut
Lentils
Rice
Tomato
Strawberrys

Then think what are you going to cook for tea :cautious::stop::LOL:

It might be worth asking your gp about prescription food, you might get an allowance on a yearly subscription charge. Much cheaper than buying it.

Yea my mum said somthing about that i thought she was making it up i mite just look into that thanx crapshot

I know for us we had to be diagnosed coeliac disease before we could get prescription food which we are still waiting for the blood test.
But I know all gp's are areas have different guidelines so it's worth asking. From working in a pharmacy I know we have a lot of people who get hundreds of pounds worth of food every month (y)
Bit annoying when we have to buy all the expensive alternatives :shifty:

One thing, if you are intolerant of something but have been eating it, when you cut it out completely don't go back to eating it, your body will not tolerate it well at all and the reaction could be worse.
