I’ve had my spring barley seed tested and it’s come back with a 20% infection with Pyrenophira teres. Would you put a single purpose dressing on, or just drill without any pink stuff??
I had a similar result on mine, so I had it dressed with Redigo Pro. Prothioconazole is the best on net blotch I didn't want to be fighting the disease in the crop from the outset.
Spring barley has shown poor responses to fungicides in the past. I guess it's just insurance with a slightly higher chance of a payback. Mine was going through a seed dresser anyway for cleaning & bagging, so the extra for the dressing wasn't significant.
On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
