We are changing all the bearings and seals in a Kuhn 6m power harrow splitter gearbox.
One bearing race in the gearbox housing can be turned by hand, otherwise it is not loose, the old one was split. I'm not sure the old trick of centre punching the race is good enough for this job. Is there a metal on metal 'glue' that would fix the race to the housing that you would recommend?
TIA

have it mashed out then sleeve it. Most two pack compounds are only go with high temps for short periods of time and all start to fail at 150c your 6m power harrow could hit that in a hard year fixing it when you shod be using it is hard work

Is it a taper roller? Not uncommon in a gearbox for a race to turn in housing as long as it’s not slack I would not worry.

There is a green loctite for large gaps. De grease it well and bearing too. Just don’t expect to get it out again easy. Once it sets which is fast it’s not moving. Have used it a few times when pullers or bearing won’t stay put.
