That's a pen of twelve peas in a pod, out of a total of 370 store calves from the same seller. Fantastic sight to see, and a credit to the farmer.
What did those make???

not sure. I'd guess around £900, based on the reported £3.196 he got for some and the weights on the board (ave 282kg).

Here's a matching pen of fourteen heifers...

What’s calf trade like today
They said up £30 on the week. I got a bunch of medium blue bulls 4-5 weeks £280 avg. nice calves. Wanted them at £250 really so only bought enough too fill 1 fattening pen.
b&w bulls dear. £100 bought you a month old HOLSTEIN bull. Not much style at all in that section. Made continentals look cheap. Killing calves were £40-£75, couple of teeny tinies under that.
good blue bulls 320-360
Mediums £270-£305
Smalls £160-230
Medium Blue heifers looked best value on the day.
good heifers 270-300
Mediums 200-220
Smalls 150-180
Native bulls
Goods 220-260
Mediums 180-210
Smalls 120-150
Native heifers
Goods 190-210
Mediums 150-180
Smalls 80-120
Weren’t many other continental types came through when I was in there. Few Simmentals were good trade, but better than the blues but they were strong sorts.
