Last year we did turn a corner but this time it’s just feeling flat again. Usual story where costs go up and we end up copping the lot of it
Just been talking to a friend tonight in Tesco carpark, saying there landlord wants more than a quarter of the farm back to plant trees on,about 250 acres. Not hill land but good permanent pasture.Offering them 6 x back years rent, about £20K.They are not the only ones either, the neighbouring farms the same.Landlord wants about 1400 acres in one block.
