I drew 10 hoggs out of mules off to go for lamb boxes out of a batch that went over the market scales at 46/7kg, they killed out between 23.5kg and 25.5kg

How's the trade for lamb boxes? Customer's prepared to pay a bit more?

I only do them for friends and family, put the price up to a level I cover costs. Couldn’t make a business out of it this year

If there's a lack of numbers now they want to wait 4 or 5 years and see what lack of numbers is when trees have eaten the sheep ground, they will be some trade then.
Never been more apparent that the right to do business wise is stuff the schemes/SFI etc and get stocked up.
