Hello, has anyone had any experience operating one of the larger (36m) Berthoud sprayers? We’re looking at a 2015 model and would welcome any comments on boom stability, Sprayer reliability etc. Thanks

The one your looking at is it ec tronic . Or d p tronic control box . Pto or hydraulic pump .
has it had pump done yet ,ours is a 24 m 35/37 . just done ours £1500 . had a steering fault changed some wires in loom over and cured it for a while then played up again . So new loom , barsteward of a job threading it through chsssis and tracking up back to control house on top of boom at back . . If you go to look at it get it on a tractor and get hydraulics hot and if you can try it in a field to check steering . Other than our steering issues . It’s done 25000 ha in last 9 seasons , it’s had pump which is wear and tare , and can washer nozzle valve in induction hopper.
Boom pivots don’t have grease nipples or bushes. This winter I am going to bore all holes and re bush and pin with grease nipples if we don’t change it . As just starting to show a bit of wear ,
The rams on the fold in out , are twatzz. To get set either too slow or fast , have restrictors on rams , spent loads time setting them
Speak to Richard at Boston crop
Good sprayer really , not had any thing apart from steering issue
Would I have another , don’t know they have altered filling on the vantage replacement , and it’s crap . Chafer will be next
Want any more info pm me ?
