Yeah I’ve always got a few litres defrosting when lambing, took a litre out 10 days ago and put in the fridge once defrosted, smelt it tonight and it’s still smelling goodI like cows colustrum because I can afford to give them plenty for the first 48 hours if needed.
Always try to get a bit of ewes colustrum to mix with it for the first feed though.
Can be a bio sercurity issue, you need a trusted source or your own cows.
