As above please. Cooper peglar are horrible old things. Won’t get all that much use but would like to know what people recommend.

Got a Berthoud 15 litre one here, which is much nicer to wear than a CP.
Cordless ones look expensive, but would have advantage of being able to perhaps ride a quad and spray a fenceline at same time, etc.

Having used both Copper and Berthoud I would vote for cordless every time
The action of pumping adds to the weight on the back
I have recently bought one of these for my garden and it has made the job a piece of cake
I admit I have far too much garden, a lot of box and roses which needs spraying regularly

weve got one of these
gone up a bit in price nowadys tho.
Diaphragm pump and strong handle on top of the tank for carrying otherwise is quite useful.
works well .

Another vote for a Berthoud. As far as carrying a weight slopping around on your back goes, I doubt you could find a design that’s more comfortable.
Try my hardest not to put it on though, much preferring throwing a spot sprayer into the Wydale dog box on my quad, which could almost have been made for the job.

Look at Toolstation and Screwfix. I’m sure they’re not the best. But cost under £20 and come with spare seal kit and selection of nozzles. I’ve been using the same one for over 2 years now.
