Timothy Taylor's Brewery

As a fiercely independent and family-owned Yorkshire brewery, we have never participated in the global phenomenon that is #BlackFriday, and won't be doing so this year either.

Wherever you buy your Christmas beers and gifts from this year, try and support local, they need you.

There was a Which report out this week that said (from memory) they'd been monitoring a handful of large retailers during 2020 and their prices for a basket of sought after products. 90% of them had been the same price or cheaper during 2020 than they were on Black Friday.

I find it hard to believe people still fall for this sh1t.

Not 100% black Friday as Amazon drop to this price two or three times a year, but definitely worth picking up a couple as RRP seem to be about £40 now.

Always manage to pick up sports clothing and footware for the kids.

Premier Sports for a year for £60 with code BLACKFRIDAY21 is pretty decent for catching the Glasgow and Edinburgh in the rugby.

I got 20% off an OOnie Pizza oven, they have been full price for last 8 months. So was a real discount. So they are still out there. But agree, Ryanair sale is a joke.

Ive bought loads of tools of Ebay when the 15 and 20% deals are on and got things alot cheaper then ,than the BF prices are now .
You only save if you actually want it ,not just because it looks good in a sale as more often than not ,,the prices were inflated long before to make it look cheaper in these,, so called sales

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
