Try some fertan rust killer
JCB should get an award for the worse paintwork ever on any machine . They haven’t a clue about paint work .I keep trying to paint around the the bottom of the bonnet on are jcb 541.70 Agri super but every time I paint it the rust keeps coming back I tried everything and one now of a good way of painting it and keeping the rust away so it doesn’t come back throw

Ares is the same a year old done 2186 hours and the black paint is just pealing if likeNo, mine is only a year old and it looks shocking when washed off, its not good enough really.

A bit like John Deere tool boxesThe black is powder coat onto poorly prepped steel. As durable and hard wearing as powder coating is any marks damage or imperfections or poor prep allow rust to creep underneath unnoticed until it pretty much comes off in sheets or blisters up all over.
